My Teachers and Mentors:
Carol S. Pearson developed a structured system of archetypes related to the hero’s journey (or, individuation process), based on the work of Carl Jung. Archetypes help people to clarify what life lessons they are in the process of learning, and how best to complete the life tasks that are currently calling for their attention.
Centre for Journal Therapy
Centre for Journal Therapy is the premier source of education and training on the power of writing to heal body, psyche and soul. Kathleen Adams, my teacher and mentor, is one of the living masters in the field of writing and healing.
Circles of Air, Circles of Stone
At various locations throughout the year, Circles of Air and Stone offers participants a deep encounter with nature, both inner and outer, and the often shifting boundary between the two. They are appropriate for both men and women wanting to gain insight, access deeper levels of awareness, or move forward on their spiritual path.
PeerSpirit with Christina Baldwin, author of Life’s Companion, Story Catcher, The Seven Whispers, Calling the Circle, and Ann Linnea, author of Deep Water Passage and Keeper of the Trees. Together they have created an accessible methodology that uses circle, or council, to foster clear communication and accountability in self-governing groups as diverse as family gatherings to corporate teams. Their latest book, co-authored, is called The Circle Way: A Leader In Every Chair.
Peggy Heller: renowned poetry therapist, clinical social worker, educator, international workshop leader and lecturer, former president of the National Association for Poetry Therapy and the National Federation for Biblio/Poetry Therapy, and author of Word Arts Collage.
